My wish for this week is simple and at the same time hard: Grounding. To take moments, if only just seconds, to sit in complete silence, complete stillness. First, to do nothing. Second, to take contact with the body, mind and with the space around me.
The 6th Mindful Drumming Meditation that I'm in the process of creating is about the same. it´ll have the same title as this post.
There's been so many times I've written "silence/ grounding or meditation" on my weekly plan and as many times I've finally prioritized it the least. It never happened. I have so much I wanna do, reach, practice, share... Do you recognize it?
Now I sit, but I write.
Hmm, I'll actually take the opportunity I have NOW, to sit in silence for some minutes, to let in some space into my body and mind before I run further into my day 😉 - Yeah! Maybe that's the way - to be aware of the sudden small gaps in time that gives us an opportunity to take some seconds to ground ourselves? Maybe...
