State of being

My music isn’t built like a drama.

It follows no arcs, no clear climaxes or resolutions.

What I create are states of being.

Moods that simply exist.

A kind of stillness — the hardest thing I know, and yet what keeps being born from me.

I long to go there.

Where nothing pushes forward, nothing demands movement.

A kind of rest.

That’s where I get to be.

It’s almost like flying —

no obstacles, no demands,

just a quiet motion looping gently.

Maybe that’s where I feel most alive.

When everything simply is.

On May 18, 2025, I’ll be performing GRACE at Scenehuset in Oslo — a solo piece with frame drum, marimba, and voice.

GRACE explore themes of belonging, self-respect and reconciliation — through rhythm, silence, and presence.
