Hand in hand, as usual…

Like an invisible thread —
a whisper —
I feel you near.

Your smile,
warm light
from another world —
calling.

I know I scared you,
but I’m well —
though the shadow
still lingers.

I hear the whisper,
always —
your whisper.

That’s a snippet from the first draft of the lyrics.
Instrumentation: voice and, of course, drum 😉

Finishing the first draft of this one feels like a good start to the weekend.
And who knows — maybe the sun will peek out from behind the clouds today ☀️
